Practice-led
ESG reporting
education
Built from real consulting work — not theory. Every programme originates from the demands of actual reporting projects.
London Reporting Academy was created from practice, not from theory. Every programme we deliver is built on real consulting engagements, where ESG reporting is developed under real business conditions: competing priorities, imperfect data, internal resistance, assurance expectations, and evolving stakeholder demands.
This is why our learning experience is different. It is not about what the standard says in isolation. It is about how to apply leading frameworks in real organisations — turning requirements into a working reporting process, governance routines, and credible disclosures.
Standards into
real-world
capability
We advance the ESG reporting profession by turning global standards into implementation-ready skills for corporate teams worldwide.
At London Reporting Academy, we are committed to advancing the ESG reporting and disclosure landscape by effectively aligning the evolving requirements of regulators and standard setters with the practical skills needs of the global corporate sector.
We shape and support a qualification framework for the ESG reporting profession, combining legal and regulatory expectations, standards-based methodologies (GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, ESRS/CSRD, SASB, TCFD), and sector-leading disclosure practices into our content and programme structure.
We keep learning accessible through high-quality self-paced content, and make it truly transformative through mentor-led, expert-in-the-loop delivery — dialogue-driven sessions, practical assignments, and personalised feedback grounded in real business challenges.
How We Do It
How We Build Capability
Seven principles that underpin every programme we deliver.
Real practice forms our programmes
Every programme is built on real consulting engagements — ESG reporting developed under real business conditions: competing priorities, imperfect data, assurance expectations, and evolving stakeholder demands.
Standards-led. Implementation-driven.
We teach GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, ESRS/CSRD, SASB, and TCFD with precision — not as abstract documents, but as operating methodologies with practical judgement and sequencing for real implementation.
- Deep understanding of the standards methodology.
- Field experience applying that methodology across organisations, sectors, and markets.
Delivered by doers who build reporting in organisations
Our programmes are delivered by professionals who implement ESG reporting — not academic lecturers. They have built reporting systems, supported materiality work, designed data processes, and worked through real implementation challenges.
- How to translate requirements into a workable reporting architecture.
- How to structure disclosures so they are decision-useful and assurance-ready.
- How to handle data gaps, unclear ownership, governance friction, and inconsistent KPIs.
- How to connect reporting to strategy, risk management, and performance.
Self-paced learning for accessibility without compromising quality
Many core programmes are kept in self-paced mode to make high-quality ESG education accessible. Participants receive structured materials designed by practitioners: clear explanations, scenario-based tests, examples, templates, and practical tools for day-to-day work.
The LRA difference: mentor-led, expert-in-the-loop learning
Where many providers stop at content, our strongest value begins. Our mentor-led layer is designed as a dialogue, not a one-way lecture — participants engage with experts continuously and receive feedback grounded in real practice.
- Live mentoring sessions and deep Q&A.
- Tailored assignments aligned to your role and objectives.
- Detailed feedback on your drafts and homework.
- Support in adapting learning to your sector, reporting maturity, and organisational context.
Built for working professionals
Learning journeys are designed to fit real life. Flexible timelines and extended access windows let you progress without disrupting work or study. Where appropriate, participants bring real workplace challenges into sessions — many graduates complete programmes with tangible internal deliverables already advanced.
Up-to-date by design
Sustainability reporting evolves continuously, and so do our programmes. Because content originates from live consulting work, it is continuously refreshed by what is changing in practice: standards interpretation, assurance expectations, regulatory shifts, and emerging best practices.
